Cloudflare connects with an API token you create, and supports opt-in write elevation via a second token.

  1. In the Cloudflare dashboard, copy your Account ID — 32 hex characters, on your account home page or in the API panel of any zone’s Overview.

  2. In Dave, go to Integrations → Add integration → Cloudflare.

  3. Paste the Account ID.

  4. Use the Create a token in Cloudflare link — it deep-links to token creation for that account. Pick the Read all resources template, create the token, and copy it. Cloudflare shows it once.

  5. Paste it into API token. It must be scoped to the same account, or validation fails.

  6. Set a Label — the name you will use to refer to this account, e.g. prod.

  7. Optionally add an Elevation API token — see Just-in-time elevation.

  8. Choose Connect Cloudflare.

If Cloudflare rejects it, check the token is active and correctly scoped, then use Fix credentials.

Supply a second, write-capable token. Dave never holds it: each approval mints a one-shot, 15-minute grant for exactly the calls shown. Leave the field blank to keep the account read-only. You can Enable elevation, Replace token or Remove at any time without reconnecting.
