Linear can act as a request provider: issues become requests, and Dave publishes updates back as comments.

  1. In Dave, go to Integrations → Add integration → Linear. A popup opens on Linear.

  2. Approve Dave. Linear grants at workspace level, so there is nothing to select. Approving a third-party app needs admin rights.

  3. Configure Request routing to tell Dave which issues to treat as requests.

Add more with Add another workspace.

Every dropdown reads from the workspace you connected.

  1. Decide which Linear team should feed requests, and check its workflow states under Settings → Teams → your team → Workflow.

  2. In Dave, open the connection → Request routing.

  3. Pick the Team, and optionally a Project and Labels to narrow further. Leaving both empty means every issue in the team qualifies.

  4. Map each Linear state to a Dave request status, then Save changes. Issues in an unmapped state are not picked up, so revisit this after adding a state in Linear.

Comments on the issue flow into the request, and Dave posts updates back as issue comments.

Import tickets lists matching issues Dave is not tracking yet and opens a request for each you select. Already-tracked tickets are skipped.
